Snowball Squad — Terms of Service
Effective date: 20 September 2026 · Version 1.0.1
The main points
Snowball Squad is for personal entertainment. Optional purchases provide gems or cosmetic content, not combat advantages. The current Premium Winter Club is a one-time gem purchase with no subscription, renewal or timed expiry. Its rewards still require the displayed gameplay progress.
We do not offer additional voluntary change-of-mind refunds for digital purchases that have been correctly supplied. Your legal rights and any applicable Google Play refund rights remain. The Refund Policy explains missing or faulty content, cancellation and adjustments after a refund.
1. Who operates the game
These Terms are between you and Michael Robinson, trading as Play Park Studio, an individual operator, at 27 Langley Road, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, DL5 5RJ, United Kingdom. Contact pacman@ascentterminal.com for support, complaints or questions about these Terms. The operator is not VAT-registered.
These Terms cover our game and online services. Google Play's applicable terms also govern purchases through its store. The product description, displayed price and purchase confirmation form part of the information for each purchase. Nothing here removes rights you have against us, Google or another responsible trader.
2. Players and parents
The game has players of different ages. If you are under 18, please read these Terms with a parent or guardian. Only make a purchase with the permission of the person responsible for the payment account. Where the law requires an adult to enter the purchase contract, that adult must make the purchase.
Parents and guardians can use the store's purchase-approval and device controls. A child using a device does not, by itself, prove that an adult authorised a purchase or accepted financial responsibility. These Terms do not remove rights relating to unauthorised purchases. Contact us or the store if this happens.
In app version 1.0.1 and later, online play and account creation are available to players aged 13 and up. The app asks players to choose an age group before connecting. Players under 13 can use offline Campaign and Practice. This restriction does not delete existing local saves or online account records. Parents and guardians can still contact us for privacy or account help and use the account-deletion page. Earlier app versions do not have this restriction.
3. Your permission to use the game
We give you a personal, non-exclusive permission to install and play a legitimate copy of Snowball Squad and use content supplied to your account, subject to these Terms. This does not transfer ownership of the game's intellectual property. Rights in the game belong to us or the relevant licensors.
Do not sell or redistribute the game or its extracted assets, impersonate the studio, or sell or transfer game accounts or items through an unauthorised market. Restrictions on copying or modifying software do not prevent uses the law permits. Separate open-source and third-party licence terms continue to apply to their respective components. Music credits and licence information are in Settings.
We will restrict or end this permission only for the reasons and through the process described below, not simply at our unrestricted discretion.
4. Accounts, saves and purchases
Online purchases and progress are associated with the game account used for them. Keep access to that account and store its recovery key privately. Do not share login credentials or recovery keys, including with support. Tell us promptly if you suspect account misuse; this does not make you automatically responsible for every action someone else takes on your account.
Local campaign progress and online account records are separate. A purchase receipt alone is not proof that someone owns a particular game account. Account recovery currently requires usable saved login credentials or a current recovery key. Support has no manual takeover or reset route when both are lost. We will not ask for your key by email. This account-security limit does not prevent you raising a purchase or privacy complaint, which we assess separately.
You may stop playing at any time. Online-account deletion removes the associated account records and may permanently remove access to its items and balances; local campaign saves are handled separately. Review the deletion information before confirming. Deletion does not remove your legal rights concerning a purchase.
Our separate Privacy Policy explains data use and deletion. Agreeing to these Terms is not consent to optional analytics or personalised advertising.
5. Optional purchases and gems
The store shows the product contents and total local currency price before a cash purchase. In-game gem purchases show their gem cost before confirmation. Prices can change for future purchases; a change does not alter an already agreed purchase. Only offers actually available in the game or store can be bought.
Gems are game credits for the uses described in the game. They cannot be traded between players or normally exchanged for cash. This does not limit a legal right to a monetary refund. Spending purchased gems does not remove consumer protection from the content obtained with them.
The Winter Wardrobe is a one-time cosmetic purchase. Gem packs supply the number of gems shown at checkout. The current Premium Winter Club unlocks the displayed premium reward track for the named season. It requires an online game account, can be bought with eligible earned gems, and does not automatically award every reward. There is no subscription, automatic payment, renewal or timed expiry for this current pass. Future passes are separate offers; purchasing this one does not buy future passes.
Payment may remain pending while the store completes it. Verified purchases are credited once. A delivery retry or restore does not grant the same gem pack twice. If payment completed but content is missing, use Restore Purchases or contact us; do not buy the same content again to fix a delivery problem.
6. Refunds and account adjustments
The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. It preserves statutory remedies and store rights and explains our limited voluntary refund policy. Accepting these Terms is not a waiver of a statutory cancellation right.
A confirmed refund or payment reversal may remove the corresponding refunded entitlement or gem credit, where lawful and proportionate. For a refunded gem pack, we first remove the relevant number of available gems. If some have already been spent, the shortfall is recorded as a refund adjustment in gems. Later earned or purchased gem credits first reduce that adjustment, and new gem spending is paused while it remains.
For example, if a 200-gem pack is refunded when 50 gems remain, those 50 are removed and the remaining adjustment is 150 gems. A later 40-gem reward reduces it to 110. This is not a cash debt. We do not charge interest, demand that you buy gems, send it to debt collection, or stop ordinary gameplay because of it.
We do not automatically remove previously acquired gem cosmetics or pass rights, or ban an account, merely because a payment was refunded. A refunded Wardrobe may lose its store-derived entitlement while independently earned items remain. Adjustments must not defeat a statutory remedy. Contact us to challenge an error, an unauthorised purchase or an adjustment inconsistent with your legal rights; we will review it and correct or remove it where required. Refund adjustments are separate from any investigation of evidenced cheating or fraud. Where the support-ticket feature is available, you can include its reference when contacting us. Creating or copying a reference does not send a message or request a store refund, and having a reference is not a condition of raising a complaint.
7. Fair play and safety
Do not cheat, manipulate purchase or reward records, deliberately exploit a bug for an unfair advantage, bypass security, disrupt the service, impersonate another person, or use names or communications to threaten, harass or unlawfully target others. Report suspected bugs or abuse through the available report or support route. Do not test security against other people's accounts or interfere with live matches.
We may remove offending material, correct demonstrably false game records, warn a player or temporarily restrict the relevant feature. We will choose a response proportionate to the conduct and its impact. Serious or repeated cheating, credible fraud, threats or an immediate security risk may justify an immediate restriction or account closure. Less serious, fixable issues will normally receive a warning and an opportunity to stop or correct them.
We will normally explain the reason, scope and duration of a restriction and how to appeal, except where disclosure would create a real safety or security risk or is prohibited by law. You can request a review at pacman@ascentterminal.com. We will consider relevant information and correct mistaken decisions. A complaint, refund request or good-faith exercise of legal rights is not itself misconduct. Any effect on paid content and any refund due will be considered separately.
AI players. When few players are online, ranked matches may include computer-controlled (AI) players so you do not have to wait. AI players are not real people, do not chat, and never appear on leaderboards or in friends lists. You earn normal rewards in these matches; ranked rating changes by a smaller amount when an AI player takes part.
8. Updates, availability and closure
Online functions require a working connection and compatible game version. We provide the game and services with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance and technical faults may interrupt access; we will take reasonable steps to address problems and provide useful information about significant disruption.
We may make reasonable updates to fix faults, protect security, comply with law or improve gameplay. Material changes affecting purchased content will be explained in advance with reasonable notice where possible. Urgent security or legal changes may need to happen sooner, with an explanation as soon as practical. We will not use an update or these Terms to remove an agreed paid benefit without the protection or remedy the law requires.
If we plan to withdraw online services, we will give reasonable advance notice, explain the consequences for accounts and paid content, stop selling content we cannot properly supply, and provide any remedies due for undelivered or affected paid benefits. We will not retrospectively invent an expiry date for the current pass to avoid those obligations.
9. Responsibility if something goes wrong
We are responsible for loss you suffer because we breach this contract or fail to use reasonable care and skill, where the loss was reasonably foreseeable. That means it was obvious it could happen, or you and we knew it could happen when the contract was made. We do not accept responsibility for a loss caused solely by something we did not cause and could not reasonably prevent, while remaining responsible for our own acts, omissions and reasonable mitigation.
The game is supplied for personal entertainment, not business use. We do not undertake responsibility for business profits or business opportunities arising from commercial use of the game. This does not exclude foreseeable personal loss or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, mandatory consumer rights, or any other liability the law does not allow us to exclude. There is no arbitrary monetary cap on your statutory remedies, and no requirement that you compensate us for every claim made by someone else.
10. Questions, disputes and changes to these Terms
Contact pacman@ascentterminal.com with a description of the issue. We will consider complaints fairly and give a reasoned response, including relevant next steps if we cannot resolve the matter. You may contact the store, seek independent advice or use any court or other remedy available to you; you need not give up those rights or accept compulsory arbitration to use the game.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not take away mandatory protections available where you normally live or require you to use a court where the law entitles you to bring the claim elsewhere.
We may update these Terms for identified legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be clearly notified before they apply where possible, with an explanation of their effect. We will not treat silence as permission for a new charge or use new terms retrospectively to reduce rights in an existing purchase. Where agreement is needed for a material change, we will seek it. If a change prevents us supplying a paid benefit as agreed, your applicable remedies remain.
If a term is unenforceable, the rest continues only to the extent it can operate fairly without that term. Failing to enforce a term immediately does not by itself mean either party permanently gives up that right.
